Why is the Gift Card program so important?

Area businesses in the program give a percentage of the value of their gift card to St. Stan’s when parishioners use their cards. All we have to do is simply buy their gift cards after weekend masses at St. Stan’s or at the SPACS office. Then, by using gift cards as the payment instead of our own cash, those businesses will give money back to our parish. The gift cards do not cost one extra penny more! A $20 gift card entitles you to spend $20 at that merchant.

How does it work?

SPACS supplies all gift cards to our parish for use at weekend masses and they inventory our sales each week. With the exception of Power Sell weekends, we split the profit with SPACS to help cover the costs of handling the program for us. When St. Stan’s can take over the responsibilities of our program, the percentage of our profit will be 100%.

What is all the fuss about Power Sell Weekends?

We want to make this program as convenient as possible for our parishioners to use! Since we all need groceries and gas, Power Sell weekends were created to make buying these gift cards easy and quick! All you have to do is have your check/cash ready to exchange for the gift cards…no forms to complete, and they are available at every entrance of the church! Power Sell weekends will always be the first weekend of the month unless noted otherwise.

St. Stan’s keeps 100% of the profits from gift cards purchased on Power Sell weekends.

Think about it:

*If you buy one $50 gift card for groceries once a month,

you just raised $24 for our parish in the course of the year.

*And, if you also buy a $50 gas gift card every month,

you just raised an additional $25 for the parish.

We have 1,097 families in our parish. If 1,000 parish families used a $50 gift card every month toward their groceries, in the course of the year, St. Stan’s would earn $24,000!

With everyone’s help we can easily make a lot of money for St. Stan’s.

We guarantee if you look at the order form on the back of this letter that you will find many businesses you already patronize. Your every day purchases…buying groceries, gas, going to restaurants, department stores are all opportunities to make money for our parish by simply
